This one reminds me more of the video game that came out recently. Where they depicted Cerberus as a worm, rather than the traditional dog. But still, I've been going through your Inferno work and I have to say, all of it is really good.
Its kinda based on that, since that game is based on what I based this on... Kinda confusing. XD
Dante's Inferno is based on the Divine Comedy written by the poet Dante, which depicts the realms of the afterlife, Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise. Of course the game Dante's Inferno is based on the Inferno canto's of the Divine Comedy.
These drawings are based moreso on the canto's rather than the video game, but this one is closer to the game. I could ramble on about all the 9 circles and the punishments that take place, but I'd rather not place walls of text in front of ya.
Heh, heh, no don't worry about it. I'm a HUGE fan of The Divine Comedy, loooong before the game ever came out. I wondering if you've ever considered doing illustrations to John Milton's Paradise Lost? I'd love to see your take on it.
